Still though I'm massively underwhelmed. I've read a bit more into Koeman and what he's about but he doesn't fill me with confidence that we're going massive places nor does it convince me that Moshiri has the pulling power and ambition a number of the ITK's made out to be the case.

Be honest...who could we have got better? Realistically? With PSG wanting Emery etc?

If Moshiri didn't have ambition: Martinez would still be here and there wouldn't have been any talk of a £100m+ budget, a DoF and a new stadium (especially on the docks).

It has to be said that it's an inauspicious start to his career at EFC that he chose to go on a second planned holiday leaving the club and thousands of fans hanging for days on end for finalisation of his multi-million pound contract.
He's clearly not a driven career orientated workaholic like Emmery for example. Doesn't mean he won't succeed but, with this attitude, I can't see him devoting much time to looking at youth or perspective new singings. It's just as well we're getting a DOF and to those who thought we didn't need one I think sunshine Ronnie might change your mind.
