If he ends up as our manager, imagine the influence he could have on Stones. Koeman was an absolutely incredible player. Like top 20 ever good. Martinez wasn't even in the top 20 best ever Wigan players.

The way I see it, even if he is only here for a couple of seasons before moving to Catalonia, he'll at least stabilise us back in the top half of the table during that period and set the table nicely for whomever his successor will be
We had to get away from the bottom half finishes first before anything else, and Martinez didn't seem capable of doing that, which is why he had to go. Tactically he was flawed, hence it made sense to try out someone else
Koeman isn't the most thrilling option, but he's solid enough. Success won't come over night, it's going to take time and maybe a couple of managers first, ala Man City, but we can get there
It was too early for a Jose type calibre guy to come here, much as we wanted one
In 2 years time, after some solid upper table finishes, we'll have a much better chance of getting someone like that should Koeman move on
Again, not the most thrilling appointment, but "The Frying Dutchman" will get my full support should he be the next manager

spot on mate, people want it all now....someone like emery now could be a disaster
There is no way in hell soton are going to come anywhere near or even attempt to match the reported 7m a year.Could he not just be doing all this for a better contract from Southampton?
If he wins the league, he's a success.
