Rooney constant references to being an Evertonian

He will be coming up to 30 when his contract runs out in 2015. I can't see him coming before then but we could still get 3 good years out of him.

But could we meet his wage demands ? Doubt it. Unless he is prepared to take a fraction of his earning potential. It would certainly be a massive gesture if he did. At that age when players move on a Bosman they are normally looking for one last big contract before they fade.

frank i know a couple of his best mates real well , wayne is a toff mate ,he had to leave ,like you i have waited all my life for a player to come through the ranks like him .trust me mate wayne will be back here a lot sooner then people think ,ps if he had never came allong and got us £27 mill were would we be now: were would bill be now

Rooney to run down his current contract at Utd and sign for us on a free whilst demanding only a very reasonable wage.

You heard it here first folks.

Is how it's meant to be. Loads of time for it to change but those who know him or his mates apparently say that.

Big step for him to come back to a game as a spectator. His heart lies here. It must feel boss playing in that team at United like he has but it will never be Everton will it?

Certainly was. Along with the other stuff you wonder how much he's testing SAF's patience...
