Rooney Won't Sign

Don't be so quick to write off the Mancs. Last time I checked they were only 4 points off the summit after a supposedly poor start to the season. They will push Chelsea all the way. They're still playing great football, but the difference is that individual mistakes in defence are being punished, but that will be eradicated, and there's no way Rooney will be sold before the summer.

I read an article saying he was looking for parity with yaya toure's 210k a week.

Brilliant. Really hope he buys out his contract and walks over to City.

In fact I would f*ckin love it. love it.

Whats worse? Everton to Man UTD

or..

Man UTD to Citteh?

The second one, without question. At least with the first he could argue that the move was about personal development, but the move to Citeh would be only ever about cash.

Ferguson and United are f*cking sanctamnious hypocritical b*stards. Here he is blaming Rooney and Rooneys agent. Saying things like;

He said he wanted to stay for life. We were honouring that request from Wayne to stay at the club, at the club he loved. He said the best thing he'd ever done was to sign for Manchester United. So David was prepared, with the discussions with our owners, to offer Wayne the best contract that anyone could have in the country.

and;

There is a disappointment a lot of the time when you have to deal with modern-day players. It's not as easy as it was many, many years ago when you were negotiating a contract because then the player had to depend and trust on the manager he worked for. And as a manager, you had more contact with the parents then as well. Yesterday I said to Edwin who made that mistake on Saturday, 'Well, how are you feeling?' He said the first phone call he'd received was from his father. I said, 'Well listen to him, he's the one you should listen to.' But that's gone now. We're dealing with agents who live in the pockets of players. We live in a different world now and we have to deal with it in a different way. It's a pity but it's there and we have to deal with it.

Bullshit. Rooney loved Everton but it was ok for football agents and man united to tap him up on the sly and turn his head. It was also ok for sir alex and Rooney to make sure we got robbed in that deal (26m was always a travesty) by getting him to tell us either take the money or he'll walk in 2 years. Dont remember Sir Alex bemoaning modern agents and players greed back then when he was crapping all over Everton. And all that [Poor language removed] about Rooney loving united - [Poor language removed] off, you made a deal with the devil and now your getting your fingers burnt. I hope he never scores another goal for you before walking away for nothing. About what United deserve.

Rooney's making a huge mistake. He'll never be the focal point of his club like he is at ManU. I think he's gone off the deep end.

Not disappointed to see it happen to ManU though.

Bit of an odd comment when you read the transcript:

That is true. David, in the early part of the summer, had opened talks with his agent. And that was to be continued after the World Cup. I was in the office on 14 August when David told me he'd had a call from his agent saying that Wayne wasn't going to sign his contract. So then David came across to see me.

I suppose that means all the "well he is leaving because of the row over that tart" theories (that story broke in early September) were wide of the mark. Surely this means he has been tapped up over the summer?

disagree, going to utd from everton at 17 is understandable (money,career) leaving utd at 25 (? ) is different, he has sh*t on boyhood club, and now Man UTD after first saying he wanted to ' end his career at UTD ' and then sh*t on his wife with that escort.

he is scum, but fortunatly a massively talented footy player.

I stand by that. Couldn't give a toss about Rooney, just glad to see United getting a bit of their own f*cking medicine.

[Poor language removed] club, [Poor language removed] fans.

Well, the affair with the tart may have been widely known amongst the players and staff. Just because its surfaced now in the media. Sounds like a few of the players knew it was going on.

In fact all this crap with the injury is a smokescreen. I imagine it is about what happened with the tart and he's once again blaming a club for it getting out rather than himself for not having any self control.

Ah well, he'll move onto the next billion dollar contract.
