Rooney Won't Sign

Thanks, I remember reading that now.
I don't see him being able to run his contract down, let alone be at United for more than a year.

I dunno what will happen to be honest, no player has ever crossed Ferguson and come out the other side?
Stam? Beckham? Ince? RVN?

It's all a bit immaterial - His time at Man U is coming to an end, he obviously believes that he has to move away to start enjoying his football again, and to try and save his marriage. If he refuses to sign a contract offered to him by Man U, then they will sell - We coudn't afford to buy him, so he aint coming back home just yet.

I agree with others on here, he will probably endup at Real Madrid, but expect a cheeky bid from Chelski.
I would have him back - but in reality that time is way off in the future.

Man City are favourites to sign him mate. That would be hilarious. Would love to rub some of the Man U fans I used to know. Arrogance not the word with them, but how funny would it be?

Wrong mate, its 25% on any PROFIT.

ie, anything on top of the £27m they paid for him, if he leaves for free, well .. i'm sure you know what 25% of that is.

Not the first time and it wont be the last that I'm wrong about something.

IF he went for 60 million in January its still a nice 8 million and a quarter for Moyes to spend.

Whether he'd command anything near that fee is another matter considering his form, the current media circus and the amount of time left on his contract.

It'd be a disaster not to see any money - if he was sold for around the 20- 30 million mark. Alternatively, imagine how good we could be with a fully firing Rooney in our squad. Kind of makes the mouth water, on a purely footballing perspective.

There was, but pretty sure it expired. I can't seem to find any info on it. Google for Rooney is like Googling for School uniforms for your kids and not getting Japanese porn.

Hahahaha.

Well I'd imagine this would all be confidential anyway? I doubt anything you can google will be that accurate. I'll wait for the oracle's word.

Just for the record, i don't want him back, even if it is on a free

I appreciate your honesty.

I'm of the same opinion, but unlike him I won't be a snide if he did and got his head down for Everton.

He's been very silly boy like.

Oh and I'm also not at all interested in any swap deals or anything. Rodwell's far more classy in my eyes.

What's all this snide business about? he was sold, he moved on, he came back, he got abused, he retaliated, end of story.

Nobody is innocent in this affair, and we wonder why they call us bitter?

He was sold? That's one way of describing it. Him and his [Poor language removed] agents forced a move is another.
