Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

Good luck to the lad. He really is a blue, unlike certain Kopite/Blackburn supporting charlatans who pulled the wool over the eyes of the gullible. :coffee:

BOSS BARKLEY IS BACK!

(Still certain he'll be at a Newcastle or West Ham soon - he's dropped from the starting 11 whenever a decent team comes up and they'll eventually upgrade)

The goal was pretty much a tap in that my 80 year old senile gran could have scored....

Whatever... Don't really harbor any feelings of resentment towards the lad.

But seeing him on the same field as Rom kinda brought up old memories like this one:

FFS!

It brings me no pleasure to be right about Barkley. I wanted him to fail when he left but knew he wouldn't, as he's a quality player.

So yeah, unlike with Rom where I must admit I do chuckle at being spectacularly right about him, with Ross it's a different story.

I still hope his career nosedives. But it won't.
