Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

People say Rooney's not a bright bulb, true he's never going to win Mastermind but he's not a dribbling child like many believe he is, he dispelled that narrative when he did MNF and came across as very articulate and on the pulse. Colleen was no doubt a great influence as well as someone has pointed out.

When I look at Barkley I just see a cow eating grass. His agent practically runs his life and career for him. He's certainly not the only one, sadly many modern footballers really are little boys mentally, but not many players get as much hype and support he did wheb they're coming up. Coaches at the club were talking about him and grooming him for the first team since he was 13. He's never grafted for anything until now when he can't get in Chelsea's side.
He's had media training for 20 years. I'd expect him to be able to throw a few sentences together nowadays. Still, that doesn't take away from the fact nearly all of his sentences between with "Yeah, no ... *his point here*".

He'll probably have another underwhelming game partly because Sarri insists on running everything though Jorginho. Seen quite a few Chelsea fans getting pissed off about this as teams seem to have sussed his tactics out. They seem to want Barkley or Kovacic pushed further forward with greater license to attack... both of them are pretty much water carriers as it stands.

And he's had a better end product than Kovacic when he's played.
