He's clearly a good player. People who have pre-defined views on him and can't bear to admit being wrong will refuse to acknowledge it, but the lad has done well at a big club. He could be doing better, as I wouldn't describe him as indispensable in that Chelsea squad right now, but he's doing well. The belief he'd be bombed out of there within six months to Newcastle is now laughable.


I still want him to fail, I want to be wrong about him, but I don't think I am. I think injuries have curtailed his potential to be truly top drawer, but he'll be an asset to fringe elite level clubs for the rest of his career IMO.

He’s nowhere near to be a starter for them and will soon be bombed out from their match squad after their summer reinforcments as he’s nowhere near good enough. Him and Drinkwater are going to get sold next summer and I can bet on it.

He’s there just to full the english quota but his place will be taken over by Hudson-Odoi who’s twice the player Ross ever will be.

How many times have you actually watched Hudson odoi. Truthfully

Odoi is a winger and is already wanting off.

Ross wont be flogged in the summer. More likely Odoi and RLC going before he goes.

They've lost Fabregas, Kovacic hasn't done much to earn a perm transfer, so they only have 2 senior CM's. They'll buy another CM to replace those two but won't get rid of what they've got.

He'll be a squad player, yes. But he's a £30mill+ squad player who can play a few positions who doesn't need to be replaced.

He will level the intelligent runs out with some 'thicko' runs.. Don't you worry.
