So, basically doing none of the things that made him enjoyable to watch half a decade ago.
He may not be as exciting to watch to you or I but he is now more effective in the Chelsea team... he keeps moving into holes and when he receives the ball he is keeping it moving quickly with one or two touch football..like I said it’s maybe not pretty but it’s effective for the team.

Im genuinely fascinated where this perception that he’s an amazing player comes from. I think he’s one of the most overrated players about personally. He barely plays and when he does he hardly sets the world alight, none of his managers seem to rate him much either. He was very average for England in the World Cup bar a ten minute cameo in the first match where he looked decent... he played the entire match against Panama and was invisible.

He has absolutely zero work rate as well, does absolutely nothing off the ball... makes Özil look like a workhorse.

Maybe im being harsh, he’s got tidy feet but there’s a reason he doesn’t even get a sniff other than in dead rubbers

You could not have described Ross Barkley better there.

In what way? He hasn’t “carried the ball and took players on” since about 2015.
I think you're been a tad harsh. He was never going to make it at Chelsea , sadly he's not the brightest spark is he? Agent pushed that move. I'd rather have him in the team than the Gilf
