Played 2,725 minutes this season, that equates to 30 full games

Thats not bad for a team that has fiinished in the CL spots and won the europa league.

Hardly put him in the Rodwell & Richard Wright cannister just yet

Will be playing champions League footy next season too.

Considering a third of them were against EL fodder and that Chelsea made the league cup final, Europa league final and played several games in the FA cup, it's not great is it?

What do you expect, i would say for the "average" footballer people on here claim he is.
Thats pretty decent going, considering we all thought he would be going to Sunderland by now

Justified his decision to leave us really and played a part in Chelsea winning a European trophy. I mean continue to belittle him as much as you like (I certainly have done in the past) but he's left to win things and he's done that, play down his part in that if you like but he's sat there with winners medals to look back on when his career is over.

He's not the sharpest but he's clearly intelligent enough to realise that trophies at Everton weren't likely for the foreseeable future and made a good move.

I agree with all that mate. It's just a shame he tore us one in the process.

What I expected is what he's delivered. He's very much a squad player for them. He's been used mostly in the Europa League, to deal with the extra games, which is why he didn't start the final, despite injuries and Kante being half fit.

There's nothing wrong with it like and as long as he's okay with being played against Malmo and then dropped for the important games, then he's going to have a great time. That's certainly a lot better than the options that would be open to him if he left Chelsea now. There's just a bit of a difference between Ross going to sit on the bench for most of the season, coming on for cameos in finals for a below-par Chelsea side and say Raheem Sterling going to City to play a starring role, making a real contribution to winning doubles and trebles and being trusted to play at the business end of those competitions.
