Although 26 nearly, he's a bit of a half wit. That could mean he will still keep learning stuff after others have peaked, or equally he won't get any better because his head just isn't up to it. His feet are definitely highly gifted - pity his head isn't up to the job, regardless of who he plays for.

Bit harsh as there are many footballers (Gazza, Maradona, Owen, Rooney, Joe Cole) who aren’t the sharpest intellectually but still possess a great ‘football brain’. For Ross it’s the lack of intelligence in relation to what he does on the pitch rather than just not being academic that is his Achilles - I think so anyway

What missing from his game as well is his lack of aggression, he happy to prance around the pitch but I've never seen him give 100% effort. Never see him break a sweat. He an ok player and would still offer us something but a frustrating player.
