These things are soon forgotten.

If people are honest with themselves they'd accept that if Calamity Koeman hadn't turned up and completely put the skids under the player and we'd had a manager more appreciative of what he can do and was able to develop him more then he;d still be here now.

Which is why I don't get the whole blaming Koeman for Barkley leaving thing. Koeman even made him captain that one time and it's not like everything he said about Barkley was negative.

The person to blame is his greedy agent who orchestrated this whole affair so he could cash in

Rooney much more understandable, we were crap, he was only 18 and had just lit up the world stage at the Euros and had the potential to play for any top club in Europe. The Rooney money at the time was needed for the club’s own sake.

Again mate I agree, Koeman forced him out of the club but even so why not just go in summer? That would have been fair enough but no.

The only things that forced Barkley out out of the club were:

1) his agent
2) Ross Barkley
3) the lure of £££s

Koeman had nothing to do with it as he had already been forced out himself.
