I'm still waiting for him to turn in the sort of performance that we believe him to be capable of. He, like many of our other players, seems to be completely out of sorts when not given time and space on the ball.

Disappointed by him so far this season. Hope he's not having any lingering effects from his injury.

Martinez uses quotes like he was born to play football and he certainly looked like it last year. I just wonder if he is being over coached or given too many instructions. If ross is going to be the new gazza, let him roam where he likes, do what feels natural and create havoc. Don't box him into one position let the boy off the lead.
