But Moyes said he had wished to bring in another midfielder during the transfer window to protect the squad’s depth.

"He is now ready, as I see it, to go into men's football after a few games for us but he needs to go play regularly.

"I've only let him go for a month to see how he goes on. It was difficult because we are a little bit short ourselves but I don't want him continually sitting on the bench."

That's a decent amount of games for him to play. Plus the months loan could easily be extended to at least January.

Hes not gonna just waltz into the team .

And a handful if games isnt going to round his game. Needs to be sustained to understand how to work in a team.

Which is why it will probably be extended.

Even Moyes said it's just a month at first to see how it goes. He's obviously being protective of the lad.
