Ross Barkley

Having a rough patch. Team's struggling, he's struggling. It happens. He's still young and due to injuries and crap managing he's still relatively inexperienced.

No need to worry about his future, though. He's got the talent, he'll do well for us.

.Clearly the lad could do worse than study the training habits of one Steven John Naismith to model his game on.

. Naisy is the perfect mentor for Ross as he adapts to football at the very highest level. I also think Aiden has a significant part to play in Ross's tutelage

I am not sure about McGeady, but also reckon Naismith's attitude and skilfulness are vital for Barkley to learn from and try to copy

It's called confidence mate. He was rushed back from injury was poor and list confidence.

To suggest he is finished is beyond ridiculous

...and the one thing that great players have,,,to a man...and its one of the things that makes them great...is CONFIDENCE in their own ability. Its why great players do things instinctively, and why even if a great player is having a poor game, he is always dangerous. He was taken off on Sunday because he was stinking the place out in what is supposed to be 'his' position. Even when Naismith for example is having a poor game, he can be seen to be running his balls off for the team. Ross hardly ever breaks into a trot.
