The fee would have to be higher than that. He would be stupid if he went anyway. They pay big for players and hardly play them. He should stay with us and keep developing his game. He is good. But has so much to learn. Oh I think City are cheating the fair play. They must be.
He won't be leaving this Summer.

Those clubs who fancied him for £30m last season have cooled their interest. He has been very ordinary, but loss of form is temporary, class is permanent. He will be back and don't forget he is a young lad. Stick with him.

If Martinez stays a lot of our better players will be sprinting towards the exit door.
Depends really how the rest of the season goes. On current form can't really justify many going to better clubs, the whole team has been frankly atrocious and they have to hold some responsibility. The moment they step out onto that field the responsibility lies with them to perform, nothing the manager says or does has much impact or bearing. To put it simply they haven't performed either the tactics or even the basics of football close to an acceptable standard, and that does not solely go back to Martinez.

He is ruining them and you know it.
I bet he has wiped 20 million pound off barkleys value this season
I'm not sure why every post you make needs to be a pronounciation of doom and gloom. There are both positives and negatives in football, and yet you only seem to see the worst case scenario every single time?

Martinez is the manager and if his tactics are not working he should play a different way to accommodate the players.
The players look lost this season.
The players have to look at themselves as well I agree but again would the players be getting away with some of the weak performances with a strong manager at the helm

Saying as I see it if it upsets you don't respond

Drop them and play who? Half the team has been injured this season. We still haven't managed to put out a full strength 11 let alone 16 so far this season.
When back up players have been given opportunities for the most part they've been even worse.
Youth players?
Bringing lots young inexperienced players into a confidence challenged side and expecting them to turn things around is suicidal.
You play who you have available and that's what I've seen this season.

Nah I'm thinking Naismith out wide at least 2 defensive midfielders, Besic and Mirallas to get 60 minutes each. Kone to stay on the bench. Should work

I thought it was a scientific fact beyond all dispute that Naismith is cack on the flanks.

My additional thought is that even when he plays at no 10 he is not good enough.

We have a fantastic squad of mainly internationals.
Yes we have had injuries like everybody else and we have good cover.
Since December we have had a good run on the injury front.
I am not saying drop them Martinez needs to manage them better.
Some might need a good telling off but he is letting good players get away with not giving their best.
How many of our players do you think are playing to their potential?
