I was listening to Thierry Henry yday and he was talkin about Cazorla and Coquelin sayin that Coquelin and cazorla they stay with in a few feet of eachoda if cazorla looses the ball Coquelins there to get the ball and give him it back, I was thinkin we should do that with Ross with Besic or McCarthy the one to stay with him all game maybe it will give Ross that bit extra knowing someone as good McCarthy or besic are there to win the ball back right away

Ross barkley already gets into a rut recieving a pass from three yards and passing it straight back to the passer, I have been more critical of Barkley than most this season and although there has been a fractional improvemnt in the last few games, he has a lot to do to convince me of his future. We thought that this season would be his 'breakthrough' season but I feel that next season is the most critical in his career, a crossroads season, and we don't know where it will lead. Did anyone watch Rodwell for Sunderland yesterday...just highlights but how obvious was it how far away from what was expected from him as player?

Purely gossiping from myself but who else could it be about. Naismith has a good work rate, Osman only been back a few games and Mirallas has only played 5 minutes since he's been here.

We are all waiting for Barkley to produce but meanwhile there are aspects of his game that can be improved upon. As mentioned above he is often slow to chase back and that may be because he is not match-fit. He is nothing like, for an example, an Alan Ball who was all other the pitch, helping out and supporting Royle.
Currently, Barkley cannot be trusted in a 2 man midfield and that means that Lukaku will continue to play alone.
