A very average season from him but do feel there's been several reasons for that.

I agree of all his mistakes, in which he contributed well to make two chances in the first half please tell me other than Osman what did Barry and McCarthy add to our midfield???? other than standing and backing off getting in the way of our centre backs?

Turn up again.? so we wait another whole season waiting for Ross to try and pass to a player in a Blue Shirt.
We all know from the season before the potential Ross has ,big question now is what does he give to a team that this season has been abysmal... himself included..Please someone within the club whilst we have finished this crap season give Ross some Alan Ball vids. see can he learn from them cos the coaching he has received this season certainly hasn,t worked.
Again i refer to the fact its team game so not one individual should hold responsibility for the shambles we have witnessed these last 38 games.

His passing is fine! He literally miss places 1 or 2 a game and some jump right on him. Watch any other player they all miss place passes.

He's lost his electricity and confidence. That's dissapointing and not all his fault.

Surprised there today. Twice in the half he turned his man and almost played Rom through then did play Mirallas through yet a couple of misplaced passes later and his head went. Also had a chance to break yet 'passed the buck' which is not what we want for someone playing in his position. Bad season, put it behind him and move on.

Tactically how can a team play with 3 literally defensive midfielders? its been the same all season and for me that is our failings... Barkley is taken of ..relaced by ...Besic ..oh yeah out and out attacking midfiel player.Not one player today made an opening for Lukaku and that has been similar all season ..........

There's a few reasons for his poor season, most of which probably aren't his fault.

The worrying thing for me is that he is still making exactly the same mistakes and having the same things said about him as when he first came into the team 4 year ago.

Really irresponsible passes in his own half and being caught in posession. Of course he's still shown the good things he is capable of but by this time next season he needs to start doing the good things more often and eradicating the bad things.

He has vision but lacks awareness.

I have to be honest, that one back pass to Galloway had me laughing. I mean, that was just about as hard as you could imagine for someone 10 yards away.

Cant use the out of position excuse, hes played just as many games in his preferred position including the last several matches and hes still been plop

Wasn't using it as an excuse, was saying it was similar to Ramsey...and labelled with Gerrard when he started.

Was a big tough 2nd season with a lot more added to his game that he had to adjust to. That was one of them to a point.

Pressure getting to him.

If he had say 3 good games on the bounce, you'd have a player full of confidence. He never had that.

Best games he had were against QPR, deeper and conducting the play. Then he got moved out to the wing, lost 3 on the bounce straight after. And against Kiev when we got murdered and he hit the woodwork twice.

Good shout this. For the last few games he's been playing McCarthy much further forward but either because it was Spurs or because Lennon wasn't there to provide cover on the right he went defensive again. To think we thought our boss was full of attacking intent last season.

Said it this time last year he would have a tough season this year, going to the World Cup was the worst hing that could have happened him.


But Ross Barkley is a footballing god, NEA and the whole country including the nay Sayers on here will be crawling all over him again this time next year.
