As a club right through from manager, players and fans we've all been awful. Our fans seemed to turn into Newcastle's fans overnight.
We can all understand why but it was perhaps the saddest thing about the whole season.

Spot on mate, booing a lad who mis placed a pass on Saturday on his home debut summed this season up , are some of our fans messing, you get behind him not boo.

I think some kopites are buying tickets just to be WUMs.
One of the main downsides of the season for me, is how many of our fan base have been down on this lad.
I saw this kid on a rainy night in Oct 2011 and i knew within five minutes that we had unearthed a footballing collosus, this kid is class and quality top to bottom, this kid has absolutely everything and without question i have no doubt in saying he will be one of the players in the Premier Legaue within the next two seasons, followed by Europe followed by the World.
Ross Barkley is a footballing god - NEA. And will be one of the best players Everton have ever produced.

He's too scared to try things now as the crowd get on his back doing that moody growl thing they do when he takes an extra touch or shoots high and wide. Our fans are a real bunch of pricks sometimes.
I cant get over it, what scares me most is that some actually think hes bang average and believe it, i think there is a generation of Blues who have been starved of a maverick quality player of his ilk under the Moyes era, albeit a couple of seasons of Arteta - not to recognise a player of his class, standard and creative mind set.
The booing and groaning i find sad and frightening. To be honest shameful.
