It fired him up, with ross he goes in his shell. So weakOr headbutting someone in the world cup final for making a "throw the leg over your sister" a few mins from potentially winning the world cup.

Could you ever imagine the likes of zidane, scholes even GBH getting so effected by a few groans and boo's. Scary how mentally weak he is
He doesnt look arsed half the time, he needs an injection of passion in his game. Bit like the home derby last year, were he was wanting to get stuck in all the timeOr developing there are skills every top class player must learn and dealing with adversity is one, id disagree, Rodwel was a talented lad, but he was mentally weak for my money, Ross i would say no. He tries were others square it, he tires to be progressive were others play it safe.
NonsenseWhen they were his age yes they would have been effected.
Nonsense
It never effected them as bad as ross, had the reverse effect on a few of them in it fired them up a little too much, but never did there heads drop so muchAll players feel the pressure and young inexperienced ones feel it more when things aren't going well for them, it's human nature. To suggest Scholes, Zidane or Gerrard never reacted to a crowd repeatedly haranguing them is nonsense they weren't above getting nervous.

Maybe they were just playing in better teams and when they retreated into their shell others were able to take up the slack.
Like I said all players, and especially young players, feed of the crowd and feel pressure if things aren't going well.

Precisely. And while I'm at it, can we please distinguish between boos and groans. Barkley gets lots of the latter (basically because he's still making numerous mistakes), but I have yet to hear any of the former directed his way.....the excuses continue to be made but continued poor performance is down to him, he's the one who has to have the determination to put it right. Fans want him to do well but are frustrated by the waste of talent, he needs to put it right it's what good players do.
