Ross Barkley

His best position is in midfield, facing the play and being able to run with the ball and exploit space.

Too many teams play very deep and concede possession to us, Barkley is not too good in that circumstance.

Problem is that we have a range of midfielders for the centre of the park so he's got hot competition to grab a spot there. He does have more attributes than most of them but he needs a run of form and soon.

Note to Martinez: he's defo not a winger. Hope you've noticed.

And and before you pipe up with your "destroyed down the wings" rubbish, we play that team versus the fodder, versus the better teams we go.

Stay on topic please lads.
For the avoidance of doubt, the topic is neither posters or Ross' masturbation habits, but more to do with Ross' attributes as a footballer.

If anyone says his performances on the pitch are influenced by his sexual habits, with or without someone else present, they can spend a short time in solitary where, well ...

Crap.

Anyone got any ideas where Ross' place in the team might be next season with this supposed foreign No. 10 that drops deep coming in?

Holding mid (Barry, Besic, Gibson) + McCarthy both pretty much have to play under Martinez as far as I can tell. Add in this No. 10 and I have no idea where Barkley sits in a starting lineup. Thoughts? Will he become a rotational player until he gets a bit better?
He'll either be a starter at No8 or No10. I don't know which.

All this talk of dropping him is rubbish. Look at his individual videos of us against Spurs last season or even against Chelsea and you can see he's one of the few players that have the technical ability to play the way Martinez wants against top opposition. He will probably never again be as explosive as his first season as he's having that side of him coached out a little but eventually he'll be a better player. Deulofeu will go through the same evolution.

......this time last year many top clubs were linked with Barkley, yet 12 months on there appears little interest in him. I'm sure this a reflection of his mediocre performances last season and highlights that it's not such a bad thing to have your best players linked with others because it means they are producing quality on the pitch.
