I can't agree more with Christiffa25.
I played at a good level too and I did the odd game for mates on a Sunday (emergencies), I was even signed on at one point. I found I was playing with complete footballing clowns! Not one would pass, see a run or move for the ball. It used to drive me insane, I used to lose the plot with them. I was always a player where I'm very neat, great touch and can see a pass and dictate games but I've never been that great talking hard defensive type. When people are disappearing from positions, telling you to mark completely the wrong people whilst they wonder out of position. Not moving for the ball, not making runs etc I could have been Luca Modric and still struggled to do sod all. Sunday football in a poor team is absolutely soul destroying and you end up looking as clueless as the rest of the clowns! I scored some screamers tho like!

Barkley has already had invaluable experience this season,it will stand him in good stead for the future and will be a far better player when he comes back to us.
I just wish that Duffy and Garbutt were on championship loans as well.

Of course a player who is better will look better than the plop around him still BUT he won't stand out as the player he looks with better players around him. Ie he won't be at full peak/throttle in a poor side.
No doubt, you my friend are one of the clueless plop we had to put up with in such teams....Ha..

Is right lad, me cousin plays for Liverpool under 21's, he played for Wigan from 8 to 14 and then Liverpool bought him and he's been there ever since, just work hard on your game lid and try ya best, if you've got it you can make it!
I was on trial at Everton when i was 14/15, the trialists played a match against the Everton squad the age above us and i scored a hatrick and hit the post with an overhead kick from 30 yards out, [Poor language removed] never give me a contract though, i'd have been a belter player with the right coaching.
