All i'm saying is he's clearly been mismanaged, and to say that he's only got a future at the likes of Stoke/Sunderland/Swansea is unfair. He needs to play a whole season in just ONE position, but he's been asked to play wherever the hell our manager felt like that day.

It's been done and he didn't provide enough to Lukaku. I hope he improves of course, just how I see it, he hasn't shown me evidence overwise in 3 seasons now.

Don't think Nais offers enough for Lukaku either. A proper ball player who's good in tight spaces is what's required with McCarthy and Barkley playing behind.

I know you're not s fan but I'd like to see Osman tried there just to see what it'd be like.

With McCarthy next to Barks? Yeah could work, no room for Besic but no worries there as he's off to QPR next year at anyrate.

He does intricate well and Barkley and McCarthy can run on in support. Plus you have someone who can weight a ball in for Rom. He's not the solution but he'd be a step in the right direction I think.

I think that's our (relatively) big spend this summer tbh. That or a Mirallas replacement maybe.
Not sure why Pienaar would be that much better than Osman there but it's an option I guess.
