I think Ross will gain a lot by this spell with Wednesday. Hes obviously taken to it and it can only be good for his confidence the goals hes scoring etc. I suppose Moyes knows how long it needs to go on for and he can call him back if we get a spate of midfielders out.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, let him stay at Wednesday look at how much he's improve in just one space of a month, give him the rest of the season there let him get a lot of game time under his belt, we have central midfield covered for the rest of the season just let him stay there and bring him in to the first time from next season.

Don't know what everyone is getting so excited about. He'll have one good season for us and then sod off to Man U. Man U will probably offer fat lad plus 5 million or something and market it as a great deal for us.

Urm just like when Osman wated a season iat Crystal Palace & Shamus 1/2 a season at Blackpool!
We have to ease out some of our Dads Army Squad eventually! JH in Jan would be a nice start & lets see more of Duffy!

Good to read these glowing reports from sheff wed But im still a bit worried about what is the most important thing in all this , Does David Moyes Like Ross Barkley i guess when he comes back from the Loan we will see if he is any rush to reward him and Involve him in the squad at some level . just got concerns after how the rodwell situation ended up when he was touted as the next 30 million player . Moyes will hopefully show the lad some faith like young players are now being shown at other premier clubs , Just dont want this turning into another David moyes Thing and a what could of beens

Rodwell played a lot of games for us, like. 109 appearances and 68 starts.

Coleman went on loan and hasn't really been out of the team since, too.

As good as Rodwell may end up, and Seamus is becoming neither of these have the potential that Barkley has. I always thought Rodwell was a quality player but he needs to turn his potential into actual talent soon. Barkley from the little I've seen of him looks like he really could be an exceptional player.

I think Ross has missed a lump of his development through injury and still looks quality. He really could turn out to be the real deal. Time will tell. Moyes did persevere With Rodwell and I still think he will go to be an England player.

the reason rodwell got some many chances at the age of 18 was because we had no choice but to play. that first season he started to come through we had so many central mid field injuries.

i think rodwell hasn't got the brain and awareness barkley has .. hes got a good range of passing and is a tidy player , he should be modelling himself on yaya toure ( rodwell ) driving with the ball

Terrible team performance tonight, ross went close frmo just outside the box, and that turn he does :o players appear to look round as if to say wtf.

Watching him warm up before the game, some of the flicks and touches are truly awesome.

On sky vs boro on friday I expect a good beating if tonight is anything to go by, at least it gives you a chance to watch him again.

Shocking performance from Wednesday tonight, outclassed by a simply better Blackpool side.

Barkley never got into the game or got an opportunity to show what he's capable of. One shot which so nearly went in, just creeped wide of the post. Made one fantastic challenge when Ince was through on goal, covered a lot of ground to prevent a probable goal.

Whats great (for us, not SWFC obviously) is that he's playing well in a struggling side and by the looks of it looks to be a catalyst towards their recent improvement.... I think he'll learn more at SWFC than he would do being on loan at Palace, where everythinmg would be going right and win after win etc.

I'm looking forward to that game on Friday and hope for a Sheffield Wednesday win. Itll be good to have a proper look at him without the thought he's going to be subbed to be replaced by Neville or something.
