Makes sense to call him back now. I think a player can only have 3 loan spells a season and he's already had two. If he comes back now and we keep hold of him til the end of Jan he can always go back until the end of the season if it suits both parties.

Hopefully he makes a claim for a first team place.

He's had one but it got extended. I think the rule you're alluding to is regarding how many clubs you can play for - think it's three in a calendar year but I may be wrong.

Once the injury problems are over for the squad, if its beneficial for all parties, Ross could go back to Sheff Wed on loan again.

I don't think he could go to any other club though.

My worry is he comes back does ok but finds himself on the bench with a fully fit squad, but the owls don't need/want him back on loan

that's what i'd do as well, maybe swap fellaini and barkley around seeing how good felli's been playing up top. would be a big gamble to play one so young in such an important position, but in the meantime it would be a great learning experinece. also a tad harsh on osman because he's been much better in the last month - would be quite funny us having an england international on the bench though
