On Saturday we will have 3 "options" for CM, Osman, Hitzel, Junior.

I can see Mirallas playing AM, with Oviedo left, Gashsmith right.

gibson just played 63 mins for the reserves, not ready? i just cant see mr moyes starting barkley
 

If moyes believe's there's nothing to worry about with Gibson then were in the same posistion as last week before Neville got injured (Norwich aside) so maybe Ross won't be called back just yet.

IMO we should call him back. He's had a few appearances under his belt now at Sheffield wed but I think there is a risk leaving him there too long in that god awful team! (Sorry owls). It's perhaps a bit sooner than planned but I'd get the kid back first thing Monday morning!

Ross Barkley is to return to Everton after his loan deal with Sheffield Wednesday expired.

The 18-year-old has been with the Championship outfit since mid-September but will now head back to Goodison Park with immediate effect.

Barkley initially moved to Hillsborough on a one-month deal – an agreement which was later extended by a further four weeks.

That contract came to an end following the Owls’ 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest on Saturday and the Blues have decided to bring the youngster back to Merseyside.

Everton have been hit by the news that captain Phil Neville will be out for up two months after undergoing knee surgery on Friday.

And with Darron Gibson still nursing his way back from a thigh injury and Kevin Mirallas also out due to a hamstring strain, manager David Moyes’ midfield options have been depleted.

Barkley made 12 starts and one substitute appearance for the Owls, scoring four goals.

Mixed feelings on this, we need him back for cover due to injuries but I don't want him coming back to just sit our bench when he is playing so well for SWFC. Hope he gets a run in the first team though.
