The only thing I can't understand is why he was brought back from Sheff Wed, if the lad is just going to sit on the bench.
He was developing at Wednesday, in the way Coleman developed at Blackpool.
A 2 month loan is nothing, the lad needs at least until the end of the season to get going probably. Bringing him back was tantamount to cruelty - teasing him with regular footy in front of 25k+ crowds, then pulling him back in to bench him.
The crap about him being needed for numbers - it can't be that bad if he's on the bench but never gets brought on.

When he was brought back, Gibson was still kinda "injured", Neville had just been ruled out for 2months, which left us with Osman, Hitzel and "Fellaini", Fellaini was then suspended for the next game, so that left us with only really Osman and Hitzel.
If either of those got injured he would have been needed.
Fairly sure he will kept as cover untill Neville is fit again and will probably go on Loan again in January.

just a little thought on young barkley ,with 20 mins left yesterday the game was there to be won ,pienarr and osman done nothing but give the ball away when we were attacking time and time again ,this kid never gives the ball away ,btw i thought osman played well yesterday , just think ross could give us that little bit more going forward when the games there to be won . as it was yesterday ,
It wasnt working the 2nd half, thats for sure, Jelavic couldnt make it stick at all and the game was crying out for somebody to just sit on the ball.
