Quality from outer space.

Seriously, remember every single minute he plays for Everton, the lad will be world class and one of the best ever to come through our YTS.

He may be but we'll never know if he doesn't get more than 15 minutes on the pitch.

I thought there was a noticeable improvement, to have one more player on capable of being involved in moves, not saying he turned the game on its head, I'm sayed he played better than Naismith, looked more of a threat, in general looked a far better footballer.

This.

I'm not saying he transformed the team but there was a definite improvement in the fluidity of the passing and movement. Maybe Stoke had stopped closing down so relentlessly which allowed him more space but he was better than Naismith for sure.

Yes - 100%.

With Barkley on the pitch we have one more player that has skill and composure on the ball. He can make things happen.

He looks a real rolls-royce of a player on the ball, sometimes I worry that he lacks real desire though. He has yet to really announce himself at Goodison so maybe this is his chance, one big performance could launch him.

whats he ever made happen for Everton? Just out of interest

If you can't see that Barkley has plenty of skill and potential then I suggest you stick to tiddlywinks. For a young kid he comes on to the pitch and immediately looks at home. Everyone's entitled to their opinion so let's just wait and see how Barkley progresses

He didn't look out of place at all next to Osman and Pienaar at all. He definitely had an effect.

well thats absolute rubbish

I don't think it is myself.

Naismith may be the more sensible option for now as he's more experienced but Barkley is a lot more talented than Naismith.

Anyone else see that sexy flick he did to pass the ball back to Coleman in his own half with 3 Stoke players around him? Cocky and confident or what. Praying he's going to be as good as he's hyped up to be, imagine Everton having their own ''Gerrard'' who'd win them games single handedly.

Haha, yeah I remember seeing that yesterday thinking it was nice but a bit unnecessary  I still liked it though.

Yeah same haha loved it though, the Stoke yard dogs didn't have a clue where the ball had went which wad funny!
He had some moments when he drifted inside and linked up well, but you can see he is wasted out on the right. Need him in ''the hole'' or in the centre midfield for him to full fill this potential.
