Theres 2 options IMO:

Mucha
Coleman Jags Distin Baines
Naismith Gibson Osman Pienaar
Barkley
Jelavic

or

Mucha
Coleman Jags Distin Baines
Pienaar Osman Gibson Oviedo
Barkley
Jela

Got to think positive - Playing Ross behind Jelavic could win us some games! I know thATMoyes doesn't think that way but we should.

Moyes has a few permutations to mull over. He might decide that he needs a physical presence up front to replace Fellaini and bring Vellios in for a run. He could also choose from Osman, Naismith and Pienaar to play in the hole. It would surprise me if Davey suddenly started matches with Barkley after bringing him on so slowly for so long. It can be difficult to second-guess the manager though.

He's a classy player. Christ, when he's on form, if given game time, he'll be an utter joy to watch. He's a graceful [Poor language removed] in the way he goes about even the most basic things. My only concern is whether he is a luxury player who will fade/go missing when the going gets tough. I'd like to see him start some games soon. I'd take a couple more sub apps in the next couple of games, like. Give him the chance to prove himself.

Definitely had a few moments where you saw glimpses of that little something extra. Good to see him on the field, and glad he survived a rough game without a knock.

Loving people in here fapping over Ross Barkley.

Let me tell you something. Barkley does ok today and it's like he's the answer to all of our issues. He has some nice touches and he's lauded for it. Naismith has some nice touches and "well he supposed to do that."

But believe me, Ross Barkley wasn't all that today and he wasn't that much better than Naismith who wasn't (as usual) near as bad as people are making him out to be.

Naismith is a passenger at best, at worst he actually hinders the team, Barkley improved the team when he came on, talent wise Naismith couldnt lace barkleys boots.

Yeah, he really improved the team when he came on.

Well no, it wasn't that much of an improvement now was it?

I thought there was a noticeable improvement, to have one more player on capable of being involved in moves, not saying he turned the game on its head, I'm sayed he played better than Naismith, looked more of a threat, in general looked a far better footballer.

Well he certainly wasn't worse than Naismith.

It might have been nice to see more from him than just 14 minutes.

I'd agree, an its easy to big these kids up after a few cameos, but his finished his loan spell at sheff wed on a real high, an looks like hes playing with his head up right now, I hope he get a couple of games during the festive period, depending on the length of Felli's ban, you'd certainly hope so.

It would be a good time to see him in there in place of Fellaini.

The big question is "Will Moyes put him in there?"

I'm not optimistic.
