To be fair, he's right.
Dalglish would have started him - but that's irrelevant really.

I'd answer this but Dan has done it for me.
Answer the question though - why is he ready for 10 minutes against the reigning European champions when we're losing, but he's not ready for 30 minutes against a League Two side we're thrashing and winning comfortably? Where is the logic?
Gueye gave the ball away four times tonight. Fellaini gave it away three times off the top of my head, Osman give it away a few times.
You know when he gave it away against Chelsea? It was exploited because we'd pushed five men into the box. The reason it looked bad is because the side was completely misshapen because we were desperately pushing for an equaliser.
It's irrational criticism of the lad.
Hang on a minute.
Is this real?
True though, even as a red****e example. At least he had faith in young players. Probably the same with Rogers he'd be in the team. Hitzlsperger certainly wouldnt.
Its all good looking 6months ahead but its about 2-3 years down the line.
Ross needs someone to believe in him. Moyes obviously dont.
You're missing the point the fact we're committed and he loses it means he's picking the wrong time to dribble or choosing the wrong pass.
That's not necessarily a lack of ability but lack of football savvy, by all means make a mistake but don't keep doing it in such potentially damaging situations. It's like saying the keeper is marvellous except if you head the ball at him he falls over - the aerial bombardment would be like the blitz. The kid could be destroyed by being caught out and giving goals away.

You know what, I can actually understand why people wanted Barkley to get some time tonight, I actually did myself. Bit this OUTRAGE that he didnt play is bizaare.
Why stand a very realistic chance of getting top four this season. 6 months ahead is vital.
No he hasn't - feel free to answer
What was he going to learn in 30 mins against a league 2 side that we were dry humping?
Do you not think that in terms of his development 10 mins against the CL winners was maybe a better litmus test if his current level?
You're spouting off about his development & ignoring what that might look like
