Does anyone no when his contract runs out?
He said: “Ross Barkley is a special talent. He has been unlucky this season with his injury but he is an immense player with a great attitude to football.
“He is so mature for his age and I think he is going to be a massive asset to Everton in years to come.
“I have played with some great players in my career but I do not think I have ever seen a talent like Ross.â€

Must be **** in training lad
can anyone explain what was the point of bringing on Naismith and Hitzelsperger and leaving Neville on for the whole game against a 4th league side when you are 4-1 up while you have young and relatively untested quantities on the bench in Vellios , Barkly and Duffy ?
if i was 1 of those 3 lads i would seriously look for a new employer because my current one does not think i am good enough for a 10 min spell against a 4th div side when we are 4-1 up
The reason no-one talks about that is that's what he's supposed to do, giving the ball away once in a cameo appearance would be overlooked but each time he's been on he's done it. It's a flaw that needs sorting.
I was against Barkley going on loan because I think he can learn more from getting gradual minutes in the first team set up. I worried about him getting clogged but that wasn't a malicious game tonight, so you'd bring him on in the 60th minute and he's not going to get done. On another night, if a tackle went in early and hard, I'd say leave him on the bench.
You can vault me about that if you want - I said it numerous times
Gueye gave the ball away four times tonight. Fellaini gave it away three times off the top of my head, Osman give it away a few times.
You know when he gave it away against Chelsea? It was exploited because we'd pushed five men into the box. The reason it looked bad is because the side was completely misshapen because we were desperately pushing for an equaliser.
It's irrational criticism of the lad.
You said Moyes sees himPoor attempt at a post that.
Nobody has said he's 's**t' in training.
I know a Weds STH & he thought Barkley was nothing more than a flick & trick merchant for most of his loan spell. It was only towards the end of his time there that he started to appreciate the lad had talent.
If Dalglish was the manager Ross would be in the team! He needs a manager who will give him opportunities.
Wouldnt ever want him here but he gave youth chances at Liverpool. Won Carling Cup and got to FA Cup final. Poor league position but still won a cup.
Moyes is the only man for the Everton job - but Fcuk me 4-1 up at Cheltenham and bring Hitzlsperger on instead of barkley.
Joke
