I do not think he is mobile enough for PL he looks to bulked up maybe he could become a centre half, certainly got the physique

Moyes clearly does not like to play players younger than 21-22, for whatever reason. We have to accept that that's just how ultra-cautious he is about it. So I see a couple more very frustrating years ahead for Barkley. This just goes hand in hand with having Moyes as manager, it's amazing that we haven't cottoned on to is by now.

Gosling made 37 appearances by the age of 20
Rooney made 77 appearances by the age of 20
Vaughan made 59 appearances by the age of 22, and at least 30 before the age of 20
Rodwell over 80 appearances by the age of 21
Anichebe about 80 appearances by the age of 20

The fact is most players that young just aren't ready to be a serious part of a Premier League team.

I wouldn't want vellios on loan. We would have less points without him this season. You couldn't say the same about Barkley and Duffy.

I think our need for him is less when Vic's available. We can always cancel the loan if Vic (when) Vic gets injured again.

Not until we know whether or not Heitinga is going.

Unless we sign a replacement mind.

As much as I would like us to sell heitinga and simply promote Duffy to first sub, I don't think we're likely to do it. If heitinga goes we'll bring in a replacement.

Could have he gone back there or arent players allowed to go on 2 loans spells at the same club in a season?

The owls fans seem a pretty decent bunch to be honest. Gutted he didn't make it back but seem to understand why.

Glad he's got the move. Hopefully it's until the end of the season and then he's given assurances about his role in the first team, otherwise I can easily imagine him making a permanent move.

I think we need another midfielder in though - Hitzlsperger isn't the long term answer at all and we're light on the ground as it is. If one comes available at the right price or on loan it should be our priority position.

Just to make sure Neville never graces the middle of the pitch ever again really.
