Think he get a a couple more of those cameo appearances. Tough games coming up, experienced heads need to step up!

He oozes class you can see when he plays. He's streets ahead of most players with his footballing ability. His confidence and decision making is whats stopping him. Hopefully with a few more games he will sort that out.

He played alright yesterday as well.

Bang on the money there, he looks terrified to make a mistake. He needs a few games to get rid of those shackles without the fear of being sent back to the salt mines.

Very much this. Last time he made a mistake he was dropped for two years.

Haha.

Osman's form has dipped, so maybe even start him against spurs? He's definitely got 'something' , just a matter of harnessing and refining it.

I thought he did just fine. He lost the ball once or twice but then so did Osman a good few times, and he's more or less playing in Ross' position. It's just highlighted more because we're all watching him.

There was one bit which wasn't really a big deal but it impressed me. He was about halfway in to our half and had someone running at him, so he just paused and coolly laid the ball off to Coleman, and I think he went off on one of his spiraling runs again.

He's got the ability and the confidence to try different things. He just needs to learn when is the right time. On the ball he looks totally different to anything we have. I'm certain that once everything falls in to place we'll have one hell of a player.

I was made up when he did that. It's those simple things that he needs to get right and then he can showcase the rest of his talent without us worrying about him giving the ball away left, right and centre. I think he's slowly getting there tbh. He did look classy again in flashes on the ball and if he sorts out his decision making he'll be a quality player.

Osman was so tired and ineffective in the 2nd half - Barkley should have been sent on sooner - Distan was the worry for me struggles in the air at the heart of the defence his flick back header was a perfect assist - good job the stoke player missed an easy chance! The back 3 choice of DM's was a lucky escape Duffy & jags for me v Stoke

For me it's all confidence. He actually doesn't relise how good he could be. All the knocks haven't helped his confidence.

When I see him talking to Ozzie on the pitch it's as if he's always having a go at him. Especially Chelsea, when he made that mistake Osman absolutely bollocked him. Same yesterday when he came on. Osman was asking him what the formation was etc and it just looked as if Osman was being a cart with him.

Yeah it's just that touch of class which I'd say only him and Mirallas possess. Imagine them in the same starting XI? Those two and Pienaar could potentially be an awesome together.

*dribbles*

I'd like to see him have a couple of "boring" games tbh. He needs to just keep things simple and when in the right positions he can try some of the more fancy stuff. I really just think it's a case of experience and settling his nerves.

I'd agree with that. He's certainly had his fair share of set backs for one reason or another. I'd like to see him dish out a good bollocking to some of the more senior players, make his mark in the team, take a little responsibility.

It's just a matter of time for me.

It's Osman's job to constantly lose possession on the pitch and do the unseen work that no-one can see. He won't like a youngster with physique that can pass and actually move.
