It happened against Chelsea when he came on and against Spurs. His touch was loose and the odd trick or pull back he does would probably pull off if he had that extra speed/sharpness to pull it off. When he gets hussled he seems to panic and lose it.
The first half tonight, it was all down to his pressing. He didnt give them a sniff. But he lost the ball, was tackled easily, and misplaced a few passes. I think the couple of through balls he pulled off by the end of the 1st half brought him into the game more.
Playing devil's advocate here...isn't that a function of playing against PL competition though? I mean training is one thing, but you'll only get used to the speed of the game by playing.
Count me as one who's not anti-Moyes in the least, but this one is a bit of a head scratcher.
