I find it amazing that people can read about our best young player being called up for their national team, and their first instinct is to try and find the negative. And it seems the only negative they can make up is that someone from a richer club may tap them up.
Out of interest, has the weather been bad in Liverpool? I can't think of any other reason why so many people are so hellbent on being miserable.

There is always a negative attached to being called up for England when that player is not connected to Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea and the other rich clubs. Firstly, the media start the sequence of events stating that he should be playing for a bigger club. Secondly, England training camp is probably the worse place to be for tapping up players. Barkley is now going to be exposed to all the egos flashing there pay packets about and his head could easily be turned. Remember the EPL is a nursery for these rich clubs to take the talent when they want. Until Everton are taken over by a billionaire we are a feeder club. We cannot compete therefore we have to bend over and take it. Barkley will be gone if any of those teams want him. Now thats why there is negativity with every positive with regards to Evertonians.
Looking forward to the one season we get out of him before Moyes signs him.
Arr well bye bye Barkley. He'll go to the camp and have Gerrard and Rooney whispering in his ear to leave, just like Gerrard, lam pars and co did to Rooney
