It's really strange that Moyes kept him on the sidelines. Our two other big talents Rooney and Rodwell were thrust in straight away, looked like Barkley was going to get similar treatment when he started against QPR a couple of years ago but it just didn't happen.

Main thing is he's progressing now and long may it continue.
