the lad his learning his trade - don't forget he is back out of the wilderment DM left him in where he rotted sometimes not even being used off the bench -under RM his shirt is his he was instrumental in thee 2 free kicks they were kicking him a bit yesterday and he can give it back - He may be our new star and I am convinced he will be just let him learn his trade!

Quite a lot of nonsense on their forum but wouldn't expect any less from a non-Evertonian

Some of them are even under the impression that he's predominantly left footed?!

There was plenty of times yesterday when he shot and smashed it over, when passing would have been the much better option.

It's not that he isn't selfish enough, he just needs to learn WHEN to be selfish.

agreed, his bad shots were taken when he was off target etc. when he was well set on the edge of the box ala norwich he always turned it down. all comes with experience though.

A former top prospect, rejected because of a gash attitude, who is destined to go all Jose Baxter before too long and whom the Cockneys are raving about because he scored that fluke deflected goal against us at the weekend.

He's still playing in the prem though to be fair, don't think he'll crash and burn as spectacularly as Baxter.

He's a quality young player who will make it at the top level if he keeps his nose clean away from the pitch.........

He's definitely not just about that. Good player from all i have seen, hope he settles at West Ham. If he cleans up his act for good, he is a better player than West Ham can keep.

Wonder what Ross' temperament is like. always seems level-headed and all, but he's had a few yellows and i dread to think he'd lose his cool as easily as Rooney did early on.
Watch the clip again of Noble taking him out for the second yellow. Notice how that wound him up, eh?

a lot didn't come off for him today, which is only to be expected, but he still won us both those free kicks from which Baines scored. The only way any player gets better is with experience, and that's exactly what he is getting right now.

He's already bcome the focus of most of our attacking plays through the middle.
