Cause Moyes was his manager when he recovered from injury and broke through into the first team, giving him his debut and appearances in games against the likes of Man U and Chelsea and promised him more game time this season?

More than likely not but professional footballers might not see things the way us fans do.

He's on record as being grateful to Moyes for that, but he also quickly added that it's RM that has given him chance. Ross is an Evertonian. That outweighs any gratitude he has for Moyes sending his family on holiday after he broke his leg.

Technically Moyes gave him his chance, Martinez just gave him a platform.

You know it works, you never forget the people that help you in your darkest days.

Anyway, he wont be going to United, theres no way on Gods earth.

Yeah I hear you. I don't remember the exact quote, but it was clear he was giving Moyes his due, but RM trusts him more. Actually I think that was the exact quote. "Moyes gave me my chance but the new manager trusts me more". Something like that.

Go with the boss that trusts you. Good advice in all walks of life.

Anyway, it's always possible he could get his head turned, but I'm not really worried right now. I think too many people will tell him to stay here for the good of his career. We have a side that suits him perfectly and we're going to build around him as we go forward. He's not just another player here.

Even Stevie G laar told him to stay with Everton, it was just a throwaway remark, but im fairly sure as a footballer and being a scouser those words will stick with him and lets not forget that he witnessed at first hand Rooney leaving and the "fallout" from that, but thats double edged, cos hes also witnessed the trophys and the exposure that Rooney got.

The concern is that hes gonna get better on a weekly basis, hes learning everyday, he should be a shoe in for Brazil and when he gets on the pitch the whole world will witness what he is.

Think both him & Barry will go to Brazil

That's what happened with Wayne. Euro 2004. I just hope he realizes it will never get better than playing for your boyhood team for the perfect manager. And imagine being part of the group that wins things for the first time in 20 years?
