He will become an awesome attacking player but he hasn't the brain to play as a CM. Lacks composure, fundaments and vision to play that role.
As many others premierleague players, he have been infected with the "british midfielder" virus.
He's always trying to deliver those gerrardesque 50 yard passes, he keep the ball in dangerous areas, he tries to keep the ball in dangerous areas when he should just do a short pass, he makes stupid dribbles without really having to, and sometimes, instead of running forward he needs to calm down.
Look at McCarthy, Xavi, Busquets, etc.
Pass and move, safe passes, don't take risks, support players near you, KEEP IT SIMPLE!
He is an outstanding attacking player, so he should play close to the box.

He will end up in CM eventually I reckon. Just one of them nights tonight, can't be arsed having Palace midfielders throwing themselves at you like loons all the time. He'll learn for it and become better.
