It will be wont it, they will give it to Hazrd so they can justify sharing the award between suarez (who does deserve it) and the penalty taker, the young player award should be for players making a breakthrough

Is it just me but every time I see Hazard I fail to be drawn into the hype, for me he goes missing in allot of games and is very predictable when when he's marked.

Well done Ross lad.

Personally I think Ross and Sterling, maybe Shaw as well, have been the best genuine young players. The award will go to Sturridge or Hazard who have been a level up but thats expected seeing as they arent [Poor language removed] young players anymore but established players.

Don't think you can say, without your blue specs on, that Barkley has been best. Its not his fault because he has had a few niggling injuries, but there have been occasions this season when he's been dreadful, and some occasions when he's been brilliant

Tomorrow is a big game for him, too. I doubt he will make World Cup squad unless he picks up his game in final four matches. Big chance may loom - if he is picked for Manu clash

personally i hope he doesn't make the squad. Think he needs to mature a bit more mentally before going to a tournament like that where there's so much media scrutiny and little England fans looking for scapegoats.

the thing is, he is already better than so many of the alternatives. he's already a better player than people like wilshire, cleverley and henderson, who you'd think would be his main rivals. lallana will start ahead of him you'd think and rightly so.

Not gonna knock anyone today but seems odd when we have 3 out and out wingers that barkley and osman both got stuck their over a proper wide man, guess system and suchlike or else didnt want dele or mcgeady to gift possession away with the gameplan he had in mind

I think his problem today was that he tried too hard with some of the stuff he was trying to pull off. It would be weird to say that perhaps he became overawed by the occasion but then again it was clear that the Utd midfield were told to put pressure on him every time he received the ball.
