I know we all don't want him to move, but just out of curiosity, how much would everyone realistically value him at?

Englands biggest prospect in years, and will only get better. Papers are touting 30 mil but I see him a lot more than that. Plus the market seems a lot higher in price than it was when Rooney left us

Mata went for £37.1m.

I guess £40-£50m at least.

Barkley is above Sterling in every way, Wouldn't swap Barkley for Sterling. Sterling and Sturidge are benefiting from a lot of space due to Suarez.

They also value Pienaar and Stones at the same price, a heavy 3.5 mil hahahaha

The original german site is a lot better, their valuations are always off on very young pkayers tho, especially ones developed not bought in for big money

I believe Everton's fortunes going forward are inextricably linked with Barkley's progress. I get the feeling that RM is of similar belief. I laughed at some headlines this morning. Rather than declare 'Everton's Ross Barkley ' they report 'Liverpool and Man Utd target, Ross Barkley'. The press really are WUMs of the highest order.

I think it's because most of that is based on contract and the likes, and I doubt that Stones has a 50k/w wage bill...

And for Pienaar - same criteria, but age is also a factor, making his value drop.

Everton need to tie him to a luxurious contract soon. I will continue to believe he will be an Everton player next season regardless of what I've been told.
My mate is pretty high up in society here and he practically does business with a lot of successful people and sports people. I choose to disbelieve him as hopefully you lot will too but he has told me just before that Ross Barkley has agreed a move. I asked him where and he never said but according to him Barkley is on the move this transfer window. I choose not to believe what he said but he knows something because before he mentioned this we had a bet about it. Once we made the bet he told me what will happen.

Don't shoot the messenger I don't believe him but he is very unlikely to be wrong.
