Yes I've only just joined but that doesn't mean anything does it? I'm passing on what I heard and after watching Barkley's motm interview on Saturday I think he will be here next season. I wouldn't have made a £100 bet if I wasn't confident but I also can't get it out my head that he could be leaving. The Rooney to United transfer was agreed in theory months before it happened.
 


Only way if actually advocate selling him if we sold him for mega wonga like 60 mil and used it to build the Barkley arena a 50k Everton arena
 
It goes against everything Everton have said doesn't it. We are apparently building a team around the youngsters in the squad and in one of those fan forum things didn't Graeme Sharpe say we won't sell players as easy as we have in the past anymore? I can't see a transfer myself but what do I know what goes on in his private life.

Martinez , kenwright and elstone have all said the agm that we do not have to sell to buy anymore

I wouldnt sell Barkley for any money. If he hits the heights hes capable of then he could be awesome. I just hope he improves the tempo of his game slightly.
 

Barkley will prove to the wider football world over time that he's on a different level to your Sterlings and Wilsheres.

He already has in my opinion. Goals like at Newcastle and against City and performances like Saturday's and against Arsenal and United, for example, show he's a class above. He just needs to do it a bit more consistently. I hope and believe that'll happen next season.
 
I agree and think it will happen. I also think Roberto is building the team up for the future and hopefully is thinking of a long term tenure to cement himself with a club and build a rep like SAF happen.

My mate is pretty high up in society here and he practically does business with a lot of successful people and sports people. I choose to disbelieve him as hopefully you lot will too but he has told me just before that Ross Barkley has agreed a move. I asked him where and he never said but according to him Barkley is on the move this transfer window. I choose not to believe what he said but he knows something because before he mentioned this we had a bet about it. Once we made the bet he told me what will happen.

Don't shoot the messenger I don't believe him but he is very unlikely to be wrong.
