Ross Barkley

All it will take is 1 screamer at the WC, and thats it, gone.
Oh come on. We really really don't need to sell to buy this year. We really don't need to cash in on our players and any club who would want him would have to pay through the nose to get him, far and above his actual value at the moment.

I can understand the logic in keeping Barkley, I really can. But if a crazy offer came in then I think we would be stupid to turn it down. If we are talking 40 or 50 million, then I think we could get 2 or 3 BRILLIANT players for that money. Put simply, I think 2 or 3 brilliant players, in addition to other signings paid for with the new TV money, would have a greater impact on Everton than Ross Barkley alone.

£50m would be nice, but we could get Gareth Bale money for him in a couple years. I'm of the opinion we should keep him for his entire career if possible. At the very least, keep him for another couple years... because if he stays injury free, I can only see his stock rising.

We would be even more stupid to sell look at spurs they sell bale for a whopping fee and look how there money was spent. Ross is a blue and should stay a blue

All well and good getting big money for Ross. But there isn't a player I can think of that I'd rather watch play for Everton. We could bring in a number of very good players, but it wouldn't be as good as watching a world class talent develop from our academy for me. Irrespective of the outcome.

I'm not anywhere near as concerned about Ross going to the World Cup as I was Rooney going to the Euro's.

He is in the best place for his development right now and he can progress under a manager without the worry of living up to a huge price tag.

There will always be speculation about him leaving, we just have to hope that both he and the board are more concerned with our team than cash.

I'm not concerned tbh mate either, especially as Hodgson will not start him and if he needs to change a game will turn to Wiltshire ahead of him, because well he is a bad blert

Seriously, how thick do you have to be to believe there's even a 0000.1% chance of Barkley signing for Liverpool? I can't believe I have to share oxygen with these people.

Probably mate but it only takes Ross to come up with one bit of genius (something he's done several times already this year) to have the pundits and press going batshit and selling him to the highest bidder.

This nails it. This opportunity doesn't come around very often and we should enjoy Barkley's development.
