Ross Barkley

Hypothetical question.

And one which I hope is rhetorical among Everton fans.

England come up against the USA and Tim Howard and Slipper crash into each other in the penalty box.

One suffers a broken leg which will mean him missing a huge chunk of next season.

Which one do you hope will get up and walk away unscathed?

:)

It's a no brainer.

Which is why the supporting of England is better left to fans of Shrewsbury Town :pint2:
I honestly don't get why anyone would support England, not havin a go if you do as that's your prerogative, I just don't get it. Why support any team that isn't wearing a blue shirt or playin the [Poor language removed]?
Well then you're an idiot.
Don't call people names on the internet mate it's silly. Try and engage in a discussion

Everton have reportedly opened talks with Ross Barkley over a new deal which could see the 20 year old's salary doubled from £20,000 to £40,000 per week.

His agent will believe he can get much better than that elsewhere. I would be worried if that turns out to be true.
He's now a fully fledged International, and widely regarded to be one of the brightest talents in Europe.

The sums of money "earned" by players today is obscene lets get that straight, but football today is what it is I'm afraid and we just have to accept it.

40k for Barkley, won't be enough and to be honest if I was him, I wouldn't accept it either. There are many many players who don't have an ounce of his talent, that are on a similar wage.
