I was at Uni in Manchester late 90s/early 2000s and Went to Maine Road quite a bit - including in Division 2.

Sure, they've got a load of new plastic fans, but the core support at City is awesome. Much like our own.

btw - Even in January we would still get close to his proper value unless he has a clear view on what team he wants to go to. The other thing is that he's a local kid, he isn't going to want to screw his boyhood club before leaving. Even Rooney didn't do that.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that. No way will anyone pay top dollar for any player with 18 months left on their contract. However like I say, I think he'll sign a new one and this entire conversation will be moot.
