It's a pile of steaming horse crap that only a crank would possibly believe and that's not an opinion, it's a fact

Let me just make a note of that LOL

I actually agree with you in regards to FFP, but remember that Everton have been up for sale for over 10 years apparently and we are yet to get investment! So I think in regards to FFP our fans just don't want any other average mid table teams getting taken over that can push us further down the table due to oil money. So at the moment - as it stands, we are fine with the regulations.

It actually doesn't stop someone coming in investing in a stadium development with Everton. It actually encourages it.

This.

We're a relatively big club that has suffered because we never got a stadium built much the same as Liverpool.

If a buyer comes in and builds us a stadium we could generate the amount of revenue to get us into the top 4 naturally unlike City or even perhaps Chelsea as there's only so long they can keep selling their stockpile of young players.

FFP makes it more likely that we will be bought and in the meantime more likely to allow us to get there organically.

The job Martinez has done with this kid over the last 12 months has been incredible. He let a natural talent loose, let him develop in the first team properly and worked on his faults whilst emphasising his strengths.

In one year, we've went from having a kid who looked like he was going to be the latest victim of the Moyes Neville-obsession to a full England international ready to make a massive impact in the Premier League.

Here's to an exciting year of Ross bossness.

How is what we sold him for a terrible example though

He was not good enough for us, that's why the majority on here were rejoicing at him being sold. And what has happened to him since ?

That would sort of reinforce the idea that Moyes' judgement is up to scratch. Compared to the scouts at City who thought young Jack was well worth £12m of their money.

Man City also bought Gareth Barry and think he deserves a place in their starting 11 fairly often. Alongside Yaya Toure and David Silva ffs.

It was all going well until that last paragraph. FFS
