Time he was given an ultimatum. He's a good player no doubt, but certainly not good enough to be playing games with the club. If he thinks he's too good for us then let him go because it is a guarantee he will regret it.

Off to the highest bidder in the summer. Not sure there will be too many.
And replace him with....?
He's clearly a good player, but it's telling that he never shows up in the big games. I've defended Ross for ages, but I'm becoming slightly more ambivalent about him leaving.
SiggurdsonAnd replace him with....?
Gylfi Sigurdsson, who ran the show at Old Trafford today as well as scoring an absolute peach of a free kick.
If he was playing any sort of forward, decent, balls and it was dcl/valencia struggling then I'd agree... but ross doesn't even find them with passes because he's looking at stekkes making blind passes sidewaysI think we're overly reliant on him to be creative and be our focus. Whilst yes, he didn't play well today, the point could also be made that it is hard to play well with Valencia (very meh) and DCL (young inexperienced also meh) as two of a front three. His best other alternative for a supporting creative player is Mirallas who goes missing in 7/10 games.
Seriously need to reinforce this area as the top teams have several creative players going forward. Perhaps then he might be yet more productive.
I don't think anybody is blaming him for the loss, but he needs to turn up for these games and right now just isn't.Poor game today but cannot blame him for the loss......that's far too easy.
Anyone who is a lot sharper upstairs. That's why we've got Walsh. And replace him with....?
