Keeping players who don't want to play for the club is not good business. The price for these players won't change whether the buying club knows we want to sell or not. Every club will know what the magic number is for either Rom or Ross.

If a club has plans they'll have a set position for Barkley in mind next season. They'll want a quick resolution. They wont want delay. Koeman stating that when Sunday comes and goes 'that's it' does not give them pause for thought on bids. He has no future at Everton because the manager said so. Imagine being an Everton negotiator going to the table with that hand to play.

Contract has been offered.
It has not been signed.
There is no commitment (as it stands) from RB's party.

What has figures got to do with it? We are just waiting for a decision, there is no mention of negotiations ( Remember there was mention of this with Rom?)
