Ross Barkley

Or because its the club he's a supporter of rather than anything? He wants to do everything for the club and it hurts him when he can't.

Boo-hoo and all that, but I agree mentally that's a problem. He moves away, I think that will get to him less.

And if the board are genuine...IMO you need Barkley, you need Lukaku. What you don't need is the rest of the squad.

Really? All I've seen him do is bottle it, when the club have needed him in big games

Not convinced the two are conducive though.

How often do they assist each other?

Their personalities clash like, but I reckon Everton's DNA is much more Koeman than Barkley.

Barkley needs a Martinez, someone to blow smoke up his arse.

A lot of players with his talent do though. See Eden Hazard of last season compared to this (not saying they're on the level, but these players need love) when Jose singled him out and benched him.

A manager should see who he has to nurture to get the best out of them compared to others rather than hit everyone with a blunt hammer.

Erm....hello?

Davies?
Gana?
Schneiderlin?
Holgate?

:coffee:

Remember at Blackburn years ago and he gave back to back free kicks or maybe a penalty away. His head completely dropped and he looked devastated about giving away fouls. I don't think he can cope with the mental side of the game, it's a shame really. He might have all this ability but his decision making is what lets him down. He's been playing first team football for at least 4 full seasons now and he hasn't really kicked on to the player we all thought he would be. Personally, think it's for the best he moves on and both parties can have a fresh start.

Anyone outside of Liverpool who is not an Everton Fan,will say its downhill for Everton "if" they lose there so called best players in Lukaku and Barkley, but Barkley does so little in so many games i think that outsiders take no notice of and rave about him in some games hes been totally rubbish, and does the usual ones of overhtting passes like one time in the box today at arsenal, under hitting,,trying to showboat etc,i am not one bit bothered if he goes or stays and if he did stay,i wont be excited etc,as hes doing what he cliams is his dream, getting payed very well and probably another one of these players that would say they would play in any place in the team for no money,

Just how much nurturing does Ross need? He had three years of it under El Fraudo, didn't really help with his development.
