When Ross is looking magic for a top team in the CL, some fans will be happy, because you know "he gave the ball away twice in 1 game once".....

To be fair, he gives the ball away more than that in most games, but that's the nature of his role.

Its like complaining about Lukaku's defensive stats.. A midfielder playing the role he's been given will give the ball away.. Its a fact of life.

Even Messi loses the ball sometimes. Maybe...

Used to be, he would do it needlessly and not seem to have a plan, now he seems clearer on what he wants to do, sometimes it just doesn't come off.

There was one season where Messi had given the ball away more times than anyone in Europe's top leagues. If you're not a boring sideways passing 'experienced' midfielder then a certain section of the Everton fan base and the English management team are not interested.

Yep, Barkley will shoulder the entire burden whereas the likes of Sterling, Kane, Lallana will have their anonymous games explained away by their fans in the press.

I honestly don't see what Lallana does except get in the way?

They all say he makes clever runs but if you watch he really doesn't - he's like the proverbial chicken.

Lallana is like a worse version of what Osman was in his prime. Because he's played at two media friendly clubs though he's been hyped beyond belief. Slow weak player who has some decent technique, that is it. Osman could at least control a midfield in his prime, Lallana is useless and should be nowhere near the England squad let alone keeping Barkley out of any positions.

Slow weak player who has some decent technique, that is it. Osman could at least control a midfield in his prime, Lallana is useless and should be nowhere near the England squad let alone keeping Barkley out of any positions.

Maybe a bit harsh, he has got a decent but of pace off the mark and quick feet but that's about it. He's like Osman and Naismith merged into one, but yeh, shouldn't be anywhere near starting for England. Don't think he's bad as an impact sub to pick up little pockets of space, but from the start he just gets in the way.

He does a cruyff turn and passes to the left back. He gets it back another cruyff turn abd gives it to the right back
